Acelinian Marriage

Unlike the Earthling world, in Home Acelines the marital relationship among Acelinians was formulated in a limited-time contract or appointment. Some Acelinian states allowed up to six individuals, including humanoid and non-humanoid beings, to involve in a valid marriage.

There was no direct connection between the parents in marriage and the children. All children were grown up with an officially designated guardians, but, in a rare case, they could choose to stay with their biological parents...
