This light-weight instrument was made by Nahlad, an Orionian 14 year-old inventor who was appointed as a galactic technology officer (GTO) inventing Interstellar Friend Seeker (IFS), as well as an enthusiastic composer.
Only one piece was made before GTO Nahlad joined the galactic network development of his planet. It was once owned by different galactic musicians and was abandoned several times. Finally, it reached Home Acelines as a noble collectable and Zenna bought it as her musician lover's gift. Since then, Yoshio become the sole owner.
With its challanging musical mechanism, Yoshio played it all the day and soon became a master. With the gravitational clover, a magnet at his waist of his performance suit, he could even hang it without hindering his stage performance.
During playing, the sparkle in its body indicated the optically-modulated synthesizer (OMS) was processed via the optically-charged fiber arrays installed internally. The resulting beautiful melody was generated by the combination of OMS, for tones, and external energy blowing into the mouthpiece, for dynamics.
Mouthpiece, detachable from the top of the sax, was malleable. It could be bent, elongated and twisted to fit the player's need.
The Optically-modulated synthesizer (OMS) and the quantum processor ORNX were installed at the top of the sax. Soundbank memory was an Orionian quantum dimension that stored the synthesis formulae of all known musical instruments among the galaxians so that you could play an Earthling trumpet, an Orionian double string, or a Falconian bass drum.
Keys on the front of the sax were polyphonic, which could be at most 16 musical tones, including rhythmic percussion, at a time.
The bottom of the sax was an Orionian Intelligent Amplifying Bell that could change the loudness and the direction of the resulting sound by sensing the number of auidence and their distance automatically.
================Now, listen to the beautiful sound of OCAR sax (Handsome's theme) played by Yoshio himself--a one-time performance with just the sax:
